The Powder Metallurgy Association of South Africa (PMA) is a non-profit organisation
Established in 1980 representing the powder metallurgy (P/M) Industry in South Africa.
The aims of the PMA are:

To further P/M and related topics in all branches of science and industry. |

To arrange meetings of powder metallurgists (and workers in associated
disciplines) in South Africa. |
|
To act as liaison between members of the PMA and international bodies. |
The current association has members from throughout the country that are actively
involved in powder metallurgy. The PMA is steered by a committee representing the P/M
industries in South Africa. The Committee consists of a Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer
and a minimum of five additional committee members.
Some of the PMA’s achievements have been:

Holding an annual Symposium, and inviting international specialists in the P/M field to form ties and keep members abreast of the latest technologies. |
